Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

BetArchives (betarchives.com) is an independent archive of historical pre-match football odds. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean the operator of BetArchives. You can reach us at contact@betarchives.com.

2. What we collect

You can browse the whole site without signing up, so we don't ask for your name, email address or any other personal details.

• Server logs. Like every website, our hosting provider receives technical data when your browser loads a page: IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. This is used only to keep the site running, secure and protected against abuse, and it is kept for a short period.
• Search terms. When you search for a team or competition, the text is used to show results. We don't store it or link it to you.
• Language preference. If you close the language suggestion bar, your browser remembers that choice locally. It never leaves your device.
• Emails. If you write to us, we keep your message and address only for as long as needed to reply and follow up.

3. Cookies

We don't currently use cookies for tracking, analytics or advertising. Our hosting provider may set a strictly necessary security cookie to block automated attacks. If we add analytics or advertising in the future, we will update this policy first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before any non-essential cookie is set.

4. Service providers

• Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the site and its database and protects it against attacks. It processes server logs on our behalf. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• 5DollarFootballAPI supplies the football data. Our servers request data from it; your browser never contacts it and none of your data is shared with it.

We don't sell, rent or trade personal data, and we don't share it with bookmakers.

5. Legal basis

Where data protection laws such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR or Türkiye's KVKK apply, we process the limited data above on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website, and to reply to messages you send us.

6. International transfers

Cloudflare runs a global network, so data may be processed in countries outside your own. Cloudflare uses recognised safeguards, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, for these transfers.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data about you, to object to or restrict its use, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Because we don't run accounts, we usually hold no data that identifies you, but we'll answer any request sent to contact@betarchives.com.

8. Children

BetArchives covers betting odds and is meant for adults aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

9. Links to other sites

Some pages link to other websites, such as our data provider or support organisations. Their own privacy policies apply once you leave BetArchives.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy, for example before adding analytics or advertising. The date at the top shows the latest version. Please also read our Terms of Use.
